Description

This blast chiller and shock freezer by Caravell is a powerful unit for commercial catering and foodservice settings, featuring both soft and hard chilling cycles It is capable of chilling up to 36kg of food and uses "Soft" and "Hard" cycles, which can be time-based or controlled by a core temperature probe.
The unit a 3 main core functios of rapid chilling, cooling cooked food from a high temperature to +3°C quickly. Shock freezing, reducing food core temperature to -18°C in less than four hours and automatic preservation meaning after a chilling or freezing cycle, the unit can automatically switch to a holding temperature to keep food at the programmed temperature until it is removed.
The unit is equipped with a high-power compressor and uses an indirect airflow to cool food rapidly. It is insulated with high-density polyurethane foam and operates on a three-phase power supply (16Amp commando plug). The unit uses an advanced electronic control panel that allows for customized cycles. It can be operated via a core temperature probe or by time.
